Welcome to Nutech Paint
Flat Roof Restoration
The professional job was undertaken to restore waterproofing to an ageing asphalt roof. To prepare the surface, the entire roof was pressure washed to remove any dirt and debris. Then, any joins and cracks were sealed with polyfabric to ensure a seamless, waterproof finish. Finally, one coat of Nutech Paint’s Asphalt Primer in white was applied to create an even and stable base.
To help cool the building, the chosen top coat was NXT Silicone in White high gloss. This provides the maximum reflectivity and can dramatically reduce the building’s temperature. Because of ocean winds and unpredictable weather, the entire job took two weeks, with each coating being applied by roller.

Resort Reception Restoration
The roof of the building that houses the resort reception and gym was in serious need of restoration. Rather than re-roof the whole building, the owners chose to recoat it to restore the waterproof finish. The entire process took one week, and the resort operated as normal during the restoration.
To begin, the existing surface was pressure coated to remove build up, contamination, debris and general dirt. Then, all joins, gaps and cracks were patched with polyfabric to ensure a seamless surface. Finally, the entire roof was prepared using Nutech Paint’s Asphalt Primer.
Once the preparation had been completed, the roof was top coated with NXT Silicone in white. Only a single coat was required, as this is a high solids product. Nutech Paint provided a site inspection at the completion of this project, to ensure it met the requirements for the guarantee and warranty.

Training Application
This Hollywood home with an asphalt shingle roof was restored as a part of a Nutech Paint training program, with the processing being recorded for future reference. The entire application took one day as the weather was warm and drying times were quick. The structure of the roof was sound, and no tiles were damaged, however, due to the aging and weathered look, the homeowner wished coat it. The new coating was finished in time for a wedding reception held in the garden.
Initially, the roof was inspected for damage, then lightly cleaned to avoid dislodging any asphalt tiles. Once the debris and dirt had been removed, the entire surface was primed using Nutech Paint’s Asphalt Primer in white.
With the warm temperature, each coat was touch dry in a short amount of time and two coats of NXT Cool Coat in Beige Low-Sheen could be applied.
A Nutech Paint representative was present for the whole day, as this was a training program for the applicator.

Demonstration Project
This demonstration project was undertaken by Nutech Paint as both training for a new contractor and as an example of a restored roof.
Prior to coating, the roof was inspected for damage and gently cleaned so to not disturb the asphalt tiles. After cleaning, the entire roof was primed using Nutech Paint’s Asphalt Primer in white. Using a light-colored primer can help increase the reflectivity of the top coat.
Once the primer was sufficiently dry, two coats of NXT Cool Coat in Charcoal Low-Sheen were applied, waiting for each coat to be touch dry before applying the next.
The roof was completely finished in two days.

DIY Renovation
A DIY contract project undertaken by the home owner, this Palm Springs house was recoating using NXT Cool Coat. The main goals of the project were creating a beautiful finish to the restoration, as well as reducing the electricity bill with the heat reflecting properties of NXT.
To begin, the roof was gently cleaned then prepared with a coat of Nutech Paint’s Asphalt Primer. Throughout the duration of the project, the owner was in close contact with Nutech Paint and followed guidelines and advice carefully.
The top coat on the asphalt tiles is NXT Cool Coat in [COLOR] low-sheen. The low-sheen coating provides a uniform color appearance on rough and textured surfaces, resulting in the perfect finish. The entire project spanned several weeks, as the home owner was only able to have the contractor work during weekends.
Letter from the owner
Good Afternoon Nutech Paint,
I want to let you know that a contractor using Nutech coatings painted my roof several weeks ago and that I am quite happy with the outcome. The color match is perfect, the application looks great and one would never know that these are asphalt shingles that have been painted. We have only been in the house several months so we don’t know how it will impact the electric bill. I do know that last Saturday with it was 109F outside the AC was not continually running. I believe this is a very good solution to a common situation in hot climates.
Regards, Bob Thierry.

Aesthetic Makeover
The home owners of this Tampa Bay property wanted to make a change to the curbside appeal of their property and felt that changing the color of the roof would greatly improve the overall feel of the home. The opted for NXT Cool Coat in Charcoal for the final finish.
Undertaken in only two days, this complete restoration started with gently cleaning the asphalt tiles, taking care not to create damage to the stable surface. Once dry, the entire roof was coated in Nutech Paint’s Asphalt Primer in white. The light-colored primers have been shown to help increase the cooling and reflective properties of Nutech Paint’s NXT range.
Two coats of NXT Cool Coat were applied. The low-sheen product was used, as this provides a more visually appealing and uniform finish on rough or textured surfaces. The entire job was undertaken by professional contractors.

DIY Restoration
This DIY job took an old, damaged roof from drab to beautiful in just under one month. The homeowner, who undertook the task, worked closely with Nutech Paint’s representatives to achieve the perfect finish. The color Sienna was chosen to match the original tile color and create the impression that the roof was brand new.
Because of the age of the roof, several broken, cracked, and chipped tiles were replaced. Then the entire surface was pressure cleaned to create a stable base. The tiles were very weathered and porous, so Nutech Paint’s GP Primer was used. GP Primer has high solids and is can fill gaps to create an even base for top coating.
Two coats of NXT Cool Coat in color Sienna were applied as the top coat. The homeowner chose to use the high-gloss finish as this is both visually striking and helps with the reflectivity of NXT. Because of the shape of the tiles, the barge caps on the roof ends were hand painted instead of sprayed. The entire project took just 3 weeks to complete.

Demonstration Project
This home in Melbourne’s South-East was restored and coated as part of a demonstration and training session by Nutech Paint to a new applicator/distributor. It was completed slowly over the course of 3 days to allow time for the applicator to learn correct techniques.
The roof was first pressure washed to remove any debris and tiles were checked for damage and weathering. Once the surface was deemed sound, it was coated thoroughly in Nutech Paint’s GP Primer which is high build and suitable for weathered and rough-textured surfaces.
The final finish was created with two coats of Nutech Paint’s Tileflex, a durable coating featuring self-cleaning nanotechnology. Nutech Paint representatives were on site for the entire duration to assist with learning, technique, and application.
